The John J. & Rita D. Ryan Scholarship is available for graduating seniors at Caesar Rodney High School in Camden, Delaware. Applicants must plan to major in education and pursue a career in teaching.
This scholarship is open to Delaware students who are less than 23 years of age and pursuing a degree or certificate in a technical field related to the design, engineering, manufacturing, and repair of automotive products, including but not limited to automotive repair, skilled trades, or engineering. Students must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher and demonstrate financial need.
This award is for undergraduate students who are residents of Delaware. The student must be between the ages of 16 to 24 and be the child of: a deceased military veteran; a state police officer whose cause of death was service related; a military veteran held prisoner of war or declared missing in action; or a state employee of the Department of Transportation whose cause of death was job-related.
