In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. This award is for women.
  3. Must be a resident of Massachusetts.
  4. Must be accepted to an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
  5. Must be returning to education after an absence of at least four years.

Description: This award is available to women from Massachusetts who are returning to college as a non-traditional student.

Application requirements for the Boston City Federation Scholarship for Women Returning to School are:

  • Personal statement
  • Application form
  • Recommendation letter
  • Copy of Massachusetts license
Additional Information: This scholarship has been sponsored by the clubs of the Boston City Federation to assist women who are returning to college after an absence from education of at least four years.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
