Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. students who are residents of Massachusetts and who are currently attending a college/university in Massachusetts. Students must be members of both the Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association and be pursing a career in occupational therapy.

Application requirements for the Karen Jacobs Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Applicants must demonstrat a need for financial assistance and have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement. Applicants are considered for all scholarships for which they qualify, but may receive only one scholarship per year. Post-baccalaureate graduate degrees require a dissertation, thesis, special project, or research component. Winners will be notified by April.

Award Amount: One scholarship of $500 is awarded to a graduate student, and one scholarship of $250 is awarded to a student of any degree level who is enrolled in an Occupational Therapy Association (OTA) program. Both of these scholarships are awarded annually and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $375.
