Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a college junior or senior or a graduate student.
  3. Must be attending school in Michigan.
  4. Must be enrolled full time.
  5. Must be pursuing a degree in polymer science, composites, plastics, or a related engineering discipline.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. and international college juniors and seniors and graduate students who attend school in Michigan. Students must be pursuing a degree in polymer science, composites, plastics, or a related engineering discipline.

Application requirements for the ACCE (Automotive & Composites Divisions) Scholarship – Michigan Students are:

  • Application form
  • Recommendation letters (3)
  • Official Transcript
  • Activities list
  • Resume
  • Essays (2)
Additional Information: Applicants must be in good academic standing with their schools. Financial need of applicants will be considered for most scholarships. All scholarships will be paid directly to the recipients' schools. The SPE Foundation will not award scholarships to applicants who are not qualified and reserves the right to not award a scholarship in a given year if it so chooses. Scholarship recipients are required to present their research project at the next ACCE conference.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
