Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship of $1,000 will be given.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to michigan residents who are women or other underrepresented genders, passionate about engineering and technology. Applicants must be attending a community college full or part time.

Application requirements for the Josie Rewald Memorial Community College Scholarship are:

Additional Information: This scholarship was created to commemorate the life of SWE Life Member, Josie E. Rewald, whom passed away unexpectedly. Josie was very interested in mentoring female students and early career engineers. She served as a mentor to many at GM and SWE Detroit, as well as those in and outside of her community. Applicants must be a resident of Michigan, entering or enrolled in a full- or part-time community college program. Must be a woman or other underrepresented gender passionate about engineering and technology.

Award Amount: A $1,000 scholarship will be given.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
