Number of Awards & Eligibility: There are four awards available.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Positive Athlete is open to high school student-athletes, in grades 9-12, and reside in the following states: MI, MN, IL, IN, IA, WI, KY, OH
  2. All high school student-athletes who are giving back, overcoming some type of adversity, or just show up every day with the right attitude and do things the right way are qualifies to be nominated for the Positive Athlete awards and scholarships.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Positive Athlete is a free, recognition and scholarship program available to all public and private high schools across the country. Over half a million dollars in scholarships have been awarded across multiple states since the program start a decade ago. NOMINATE YOUR STUDENT-ATHLETE TODAY! -FREE to nominate -Nominations take as little as FIVE MINUTES to complete and can be done easily at PositiveAthlete.org -You can nominate as many students as you like -All student-athlete nominees are immediately eligible to win a $2,500 Scholarship -Any high school student-athlete or coach, male or female, in grades 9-12 and in any sport—team or individual—can be nominated for Positive Athlete. -At Positive Athlete, we care most about character, so tell us about your athletes who are giving back, overcoming, or just show up every day with the right attitude and do things the right way. -The nominations window is open now through May 9th. Award Amount: Chosen applicants will each receive $2,500.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.
