Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be 24 years of age or older.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be a woman.
  4. Must be a single parent and head of household.
  5. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  7. Must reside in the St. Louis area.
  8. Must attend a college or university in the St. Louis Metropolitan region.

Additional Information: The Women's Another Chance Scholarship is provided annually for mothers over the age of 24 who reside in and attend a college or university in the St. Louis metro area. Applicants must demonstrate consistent academic progress as well as severe financial need that would otherwise interfere with her ability to remain enrolled. Scholarship Central is made possible by a joint commitment between St. Louis Graduates and the St. Louis Community Foundation, as well as a variety of private and public sponsors. All funds provided by St. Louis Community Foundation do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, national origin, gender, age, color, sexual orientation, veteran status, physical or mental disability.

Award Amount: Up to $4,000 annually. Awards may be renewed for up to one additional year for a total of two years' funding.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $8,000.
