Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington state.
  3. Must be a high school senior or a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at time of application.
  4. Must be female.
  5. Must self-identify as homosexual, bisexual, or transgendered (FTM and MTF spectrum are eligible).
  6. Must be of Asian or Pacific Island descent.
  7. Must be a U.S. citizen.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for Asian/Pacific Islander lesbians, bisexual females, and transpeople (both MTF and FTM spectrum). Applicants must be residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington state.

Application requirements for the Asian and Pacific Islander Queer Sisters Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Pride Foundation is able to offer a diversity of scholarships, which encourage students of different backgrounds and educational interests to apply. Most scholarships are available for straight ally or questioning students as well as student of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) parents. All promote leadership and diversity in the LGBT community.

Award Amount: The monetary award amount varies and is determined by the Pride Foundation. Generally, scholarships offered through the foundation are a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $12,000.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $12,000.
