In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international students.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
  3. Must plan to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
  4. Must attend a college or university in Nebraska.

Description: International graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement and plan to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln are eligible for this award.

Application requirements for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Global Laureate Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Proof of English proficiency
  • Bank statement
Additional Information: Scholarship consideration is based on previous academic achievement.

Award Amount: $15,000 annually, renewable for three years as long as the student maintains a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and complets 24 credit hours annually.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $45,000.
