  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must attend Oklahoma City University.

Description: The Brunel D. Faris Art Exploration Scholarship is available for undergraduate students who are majoring in visual art at Oklahoma City University. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: Founded in 1969, the oklahoma City Community Foundation provides and administers more than 200 scholarships designed to assist local area students with the high and rising costs of a college education. Scholarships will be awarded based on a combination of merit, financial need, and other criteria as it applies to the specific award. The Brunel D. Faris Art Exploration Scholarship was established to honor the achievements of Brunel Faris and to encourage a new generation of creative students who show great potential in the visual arts. Applicants must show unmet financial need, academic achievement, and artistic talent.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable. At least 50% of all provided funds must be used to pay for tuition.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.
