Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be an undergraduate or graduate student.
  3. Must be seeking a degree in the fields of early childhood education or child development/family studies.
  4. Must be employed in early childhood care/family services settings (to include family child care homes). Preference will be given to individuals with five or more years work experience in the field of early care and education.
  5. Must attend a public or private nonprofit institution in Oklahoma, not to include career technology centers.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to Oklahoma undergraduate and graduate students who are seeking degrees in the fields of early childhood education or child development/family studies at Oklahoma nonprofit institutions. Additional Information: This scholarship recognizes employees of early childhood education facilities who are selected through a nomination process. The Early Childhood Association of Oklahoma Scholarship is an endowed scholarship fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

Award Amount: The award amount varies annually. Awards are non-renewable. The award goes towards tuition, fees and book expenses. Payments are made directly to the school.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
