Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington state.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. This award is for U.S. students.
  4. Must identify as transgender.
  5. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  6. Must demonstrate a commitment to, and leadership within the LGBT community.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for a transgender resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington state who is enrolled in an accredited college or university. Applicants must demonstrate leadership and serve as a role model in the LGBTQ community.

Application requirements for the Trans Identified Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Pride Foundation is able to offer a diversity of scholarships which encourage students of different backgrounds and educational interests to apply. Most scholarships are available for straight ally or questioning students as well as student of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) parents. This award is designed to recognize and promote leadership among transgendered indivuduals.

Award Amount: The monetary award amount varies and is determined by the Pride Foundation. Generally, scholarships offered through the foundation are a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $12,000. The average award amount per recipient last year was $3,300. The award is offered annually and is non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $12,000.
