Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior or current undergraduate or graduate student.
  3. Must reside in one of the following states: Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Kansas; Michigan; Minnesota; Missouri; Nebraska; Ohio; Oklahoma; South Dakota; Wisconsin.
  4. Must major in education.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 to 3.5.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. and international undergraduate and graduate students who are residents of one of the eligible Midwestern states. Students must major in education and have a grade point average of 2.5-3.5.

Application requirements for the Bob and Jan Jones Endowment Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • $5 app. fee per scholarship
Additional Information: Please note: The required $5 application fee is used to cover the costs of running the scholarship program. Any fee monies remaining after costs have been covered are put back into the general scholarship fund to support future scholarship awards. Applicants are selected based on the following criteria: leadership/service; financial need; and scholastic ability. Winners will be notified by June 1.

Award Amount: $750 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $750.
