Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two A.P. and Christine Clark Memorial Scholarship will be provided annually. One will be awarded for students participating in the Road to College Program, and one will be provided to members of the local area Boys and Girls Club.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a current or incoming college student.
  2. Must attend or plan to attend Midwestern State University or Vernon College.
  3. Must be a resident of Wichita Falls, TX.
  4. Must be a member of the Boys or Girls Club or a participant in the Road to College Program.

Description: The A.P. and Christine Clark Memorial Scholarship is available for students in Wichita Falls, TX. Applicants must be previous participants of the Road to College Program and must attend or plan to attend Midwestern State University or Vernon College.

Additional Information: The A.P. and Christine Clark Memorial Scholarship is provided annually by Paul and Libby Clark and is administered by the Wichita Falls Community Foundation. Paul and Libby Clarke have established this award in honor of their parents, and seek to support both the Hispanic community of Wichita Falls as well as the local Boys and Girls Clubs. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be participants in the Road to College Program and must be enrolled at or planning to enroll at Midwestern State University or Vernon College. Award selection is based on a combination of academic achievement, unmet financial need, and students' responses to any scholarship-specific essay or short answer questions. Additional preference will be given to first-generation college students who are the first in their families to pursue a high education degree.

Award Amount: Scholarships are provided in the amount of $1,000. Awards are not automatically renewable, but students may apply again in future years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
