Description: The James D. Pfluger Scholarship is available for graduating seniors at Canyon High School in Canyon, Texas.

Additional Information: The James D. Pfluger Scholarship is provided annually in memory of Jim Pfluger, an influential designer of schools and committed volunteer for education. Each year, the award is offered for students of a rotation central Texas High School. In 2018, graduating high school seniors from Canyon High School in Canyon, Texas are eligible to apply. Selection will be based on involvement in extracurricular activities, community participation, academic achievement, and unmet financial need. The Austin Community Foundation has provided more than $6.5 million in scholarship awards since the scholarship program began in 1996. Each year, more than 400 new awards worth in excess of $600,000 are provided through a variety of programs designed to assist students in the Austin, Texas area and beyond.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
