  2. Must be an incoming freshman.
  3. Must be attending TWU (Texas Woman's University).

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Jane Nelson Institute Legacy Leaders Program is open to first-time in college students starting Texas Woman’s University in the fall semester in a full-time capacity. Selectees receive a sum of $11,000 which may renew for up to four years.

Application requirements for the Jane Nelson Institute Legacy Leaders Program are:

  • No application requirements for this scholarship
Additional Information: An $11,000 scholarship is awarded to Legacy Leaders and is renewable for up to four years. This scholarship cannot be combined with the Texas Woman’s University Honors Scholar award, but may be combined with other institutional scholarships and federal aid. Students must meet both academic and participatory requirements for scholarship renewal.
