Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. This award is typically given to no more than 1% of incoming UW-Eau Claire freshmen.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
  4. Must plan to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
  5. Must graduate in the top 25% of his/her high school class.
  6. Must have an ACT/SAT score of 25/1150 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement and leadership and plan to attend UW-Eau Claire are eligible for this award. Students must graduate in the top 25% of their high school class and have an ACT/SAT score of 25/1150 or higher.

Application requirements for the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Fellowship are:

Additional Information: Although academic achievement is a large component of the application, no single factor guarantees an award. Leadership, school, and community involvement, along with the essays will be considered.

Award Amount: $5,400 annually, renewable for an additional year as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,400.
