Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a high school senior or graduate pursuing higher education.
  3. Must either have diabetes or have an immediate family member who has diabetes and a family member must be a current Diabetes, Incorporated member.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Diabetes, Inc. provides and facilitates quality education and services for and on behalf of the diabetic community. Each year Diabetes, Incorporated will award at least one $1,000 Scholarship. The award is split between the Spring and Fall semesters and will be given directly to institution.

Application requirements for the Diabetes Inc College Scholarships are:

Additional Information: To be eligible for a Diabetes Inc Scholarship, you must be a high school senior student who plans to continue their education beyond high school. Or a student who is currently continuing their education beyond the high school level. Applicants must either have diabetes or have an immediate family member who has diabetes and a family member must be a current Diabetes, Incorporated member. Membership dues are $10 per year and the year period runs from July to June and can be paid anytime during the year. To be considered for a scholarship however, membership dues must be paid prior to the scholarship deadline of April 15. Membership dues can be included with your scholarship application or paid online.

Award Amount: Winner can receive up to $1,000.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
