In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a member in good standing with the Business Professionals of America.
  2. Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  3. Must have obtained at least a Statesman Torch Award.
  4. Must have competed in at least one Workplace Skills Assessment Program event (on any level and placing is not necessary)

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Business Professionals of America Scholarship is available for students pursuing careers in business management, information technology, finance, accounting, office administration, and other business-related career fields. Recipient is selected based upon participation in organization and transcripts.

Application requirements for the Business Professionals of America Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript.
Additional Information: This scholarship has been established by the Business Professionals of America National Officer Team to recognize the most outstanding Secondary and Post-secondary members in our organization. The recipients of these scholarships will exemplify the core values of Business Professionals of America: leadership, service and extraordinary involvement.

Award Amount: The scholarship value is up to $7,500. Awards are renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $7,500.

Students complete an application on the provider website. Completing one form allows students to be eligible for all available BPA scholarships. Application must include one letter of recommendation from your local chapter advisor and an unofficial transcript. Must be a BPA member in good standing with the organization.
