Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to 10 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be an incoming high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must be a female.
  6. Must have an interest in pursuing a public finance related career in finance, government, nonprofits or law.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. graduating high school senior females who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must have an interest in pursuing a public finance related career in finance, government, nonprofits, or law.

Application requirements for the Women in Public Finance Scholarship are:

  • Transcript
Additional Information: Scholarship recipients will be invited to accept the award at the Women in Public Finance Annual Conference in Oct. in Chicago. Attendance is not required to receive the award. Recipients will be notified prior to the conference and a list of all winners will be posted on the WPF website after the conference.

Award Amount: Scholarships are provided in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. All awards are provided on a one-time basis and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
