Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. and international students.
  2. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.
  3. Must be lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or a stright ally dedicated to LGBT causes.
  4. Must reside in Wayne, Oakland, or Macomb counties of Michigan.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. and international students who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or as a straight ally. Applicants must reside in Wayne, Oakland, or Macomb counties in Michigan, and must enroll in an accredited institution of higher education in the semester following application.

Additional Information: PFLAG-Detroit is pleased to provide an annual scholarship award to a student who has shown support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals or programs.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
