In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for Filipino high school seniors who are a resident of California. Applicants must major in math, engineering, computer science, or the physical or biological sciences (excluding healthcare). Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additional Information: The Filipino Nurses' Organization of Hawai'i started this scholarship in 2001 to support students of Filipino ancestry pursuing a degree in nursing. All applicants for this award must demonstrate financial need and good moral character. Recipients will be notified after the scholarship selection committees meet, which could be any time between May and August.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
