Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must enroll full time.
  3. Must be enrolled in an eligible four-year degree program.
  4. Must major in surveying.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for international and U.S. undergraduate students enrolled full time in a four-year surveying degree program. Students planning to graduate prior to December 2017 are not eligible.

Application requirements for the NSPS Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Proof of membership
  • Personal statement
  • Recommendation letters (3)
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: This scholarship is awarded by the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria: academic record, 30 percent; applicant's statement, 30 percent; letters of recommendation, 20 percent; professional activities, 20 percent. Degree of financial need will be used, if necessary, to break ties, after the primary criteria have been considered.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
