Number of Awards & Eligibility: Four awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a female.
  4. Must be 25 years of age or older.
  5. Must be a resident of Bradford County (FL).
  6. Must plan to attend Santa Fe College.
  7. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  8. Must plan to enroll full time (12 or more credit hours per term).

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to Bradford County (FL) female residents who are 25 years of age or older and plan to attend Santa Fe College. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Application requirements for the Santa Fe College Altrusa International of Starke Scholarship are:

Additional Information: On March 6, 2002, Altrusa International of Starke recognized the need to establish a special scholarship program for women over the age of 25 who seek to change direction, pursue new career opportunities, or re-enter the job market after raising a family. The scholarship will be awarded based on the financial need as well as academic achievement. In concluding the application selection process, the finalists will be interviewed by Altrusa representatives. The winner will be selected from this group. Students may apply for a maximum of three scholarships as long as they meet the established criteria. Students can receive only one scholarship award per academic year. Scholarships are applied to the academic year awarded. Scholarships are non-transferable. A thank-you note to the scholarship donor must be received before the award is posted to the student's account.

Award Amount: $1,600 annually (award in equal installments for fall and spring terms), renewable for one additional year if the recipient maintains a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and full-time enrollment. The renewal process is at the discretion of the Altrusa International, Inc. of Starke, Florida Scholarship Committee.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,400.
