Number of Awards & Eligibility: Approximately three awards offered annually.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for women in Massachusetts who are enrolled full-time in a state college or university. Applicants must have completed the first semester of her junior year, demonstrate superior academic standing and financial need, and intend to pursue a career as a certified public accountant.

Application requirements for the Women in Accounting Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage women students who have demonstrated academic excellence and financial need to pursue a career in public accounting in Massachusetts. Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 30. Awards will be presented at the MSCPA's Annual Recognition Reception at Park Plaza Hotel in Boston.

Award Amount: $2,500 to $10,000  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $30,000.
