Law school scholarships are offered in two ways; internal scholarships, which are often offered by the school and alumni, as well as external scholarships, which are offered by other outside organizations. Law school scholarships may be based on merit (students who have performed well in their undergrad studies, at work, or on exams like the LSAT). Need-based law school scholarships are generally awarded to students who demonstrate a financial need.
