Number of Awards & Eligibility: Five awards offered annually.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for students living in Northern California who work for or are otherwise affiliated with a member company of the Perishable Foods Council of Northern California (PFCNC) or be sponsored by an immediate family member who is a member/employee of a company that is a current member of the PFCNC.

Additional Information: Each student will be evaluated based on the following criteria: grade point average (20 percent); number and length of commitment and quality of leadership responsibilities in community and school activities, awards and honors (25 percent); quality of the required essay (45 percent); and statement of education and career goals (10 percent). PFCNC interns or former interns may apply for the scholarship. Applicants may receive the scholarship only once.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
