Number of Awards & Eligibility: An average of one award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must reside in Windham County, Vermont. Preference is given to residents of Bellows Falls, Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford, Newfane, and Putney.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  4. Must have already received a four-year undergraduate degree and be enrolled in graduate or professional-level coursework.
  5. Must demonstrate academic achievement.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to Vermont graduate students who reside in Windham County (preference to residents of Bellows Falls, Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford, Newfane, and Putney). Students must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.

Additional Information: This scholarship was established to enable qualified students to further their education at the postsecondary graduate level and/or to prepare themselves for career changes that require graduate-level coursework. Applicants must demonstrate financial need to qualify. Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement, application documents, and a personal interview (if necessary).

Award Amount: $500 to $1,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.
