Additional Information: This scholarship is based on the belief that no promising nurses should be discouraged from achieving nursing leadership based on their financial situation alone. Applications will be evaluated for academic merit, leadership potential, and demonstrated passion for a career in medicine.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications and information about this award can be found online at the Best Master of Science in Nursing Degrees website using the link provided. In addition to a completed application form, students must submit the following items: two letters of recommendation; a personal essay of 500 to 1,000 words describing and highlighting the applicant's leadership capacity and academic accomplishments; proof of U.S. citizenship; a resume and cover letter; official transcripts including all standardized tests; and, optionally, a photo of the applicant to be used in promotional materials. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted by email, and preferably all documents should be sent as attachments to a single message. Official transcripts must be sent directly from the school to the provided email address. Completed applications must be received no later than the deadline date.
