Number of Awards & Eligibility: Three awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a graduating senior in high school or currently enrolled in an undergraduate program for the current school year.
  4. Must be involved in a community service effort/volunteer opportunity where he/she works with the elderly OR participate in caregiving duties for an elderly relative living in his/her home.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students who are involved in a community service effort/volunteer opportunity where they work with the elderly or who participate in caregiving duties for an elderly relative living in their home. Students must submit an essay to apply.

Application requirements for the Bay Alarm Medical Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Only one entry per student permitted. Entries containing plagiarized material or off-topic content will result in disqualification. Winners will be notified by mid May.

Award Amount: Scholarships are awarded as follows: first place, $2,500; second place, $2,000; third place, $1,000. Awards are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,833.
