Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually. Approximately three awards were provided last year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must attend or have graduated from a high school in Camp Verde, AZ.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.35 or higher.
  3. Must be majoring in a medical field.
  4. Must attend a public university in AZ.
  5. Must be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student.
  6. This award is for U.S. students.

Additional Information: The Camp Verde Healing Arts Scholarship is available for graduating seniors and undergraduate students who attended a high school in Camp Verde, AZ. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.35 or higher and must be pursuing a healthcare related major at a public college or university in AZ. Additional emphasis will be given to applicants that demonstrate involvement and service to the local community, as well as a passion for the field of medicine and a strong potential for academic success. The Arizona Community Foundation provides scholarships for high school seniors and current college students throughout Arizona. Selection for awards is based primarily on academic records, financial need (as demonstrated by the FAFSA paperwork), and the quality of other submission items such as essays and recommendation letters.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, non-renewable. Previous recipients are eligible to re-apply and may receive priority for future awards.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
