Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Clarence and Della Murray Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors in Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan counties of Washington state.

Additional Information: The Clarence and Della Murray Scholarship is prvoided by the Community Foundation of North Central Washington, a charitable organization that administers more than one hundred scholarships for students residing throughout Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. The selection of scholarship recipients is based primarily on a combination of academic achievements, strength of recommendations, and unmet fianncial need as calculated by the applicant's expected financial contribution. Additional consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate strong moral character. Recipients will be notified in early May and will be required to provide additional documentation such as a signed scholarship agreement and verification of enrollment.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, non-renewable. All funds will be deposited directly with the school of the recipient's choice.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
