Number of Awards & Eligibility: Five awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be an incoming freshman or transfer student.
  3. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.6 or higher.
  4. Must be a full-time student.
  5. Must plan to attend Columbia College of Missouri.
  6. Must have an ACT score of 26 or higher or the equivalent SAT score if an incoming freshman.
  7. Must attend college in Missouri.

Description: This award is for U.S. and international high school students who are planning to attend Columbia College of Missouri. Students must have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher and an ACT score of 26 or higher (or equivalent SAT score); minimum test scores are not required for transfer students.

Application requirements for the Columbia College of Missouri Presidential Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Eligible students must display school/community leadership. Recipients are selected from attendees at CCM's Scholarship Day events. Scholarship Day is a competitive interview day for students to compete for institutional and endowed funds.

Award Amount: The award amount is equal to the cost of tuition for full-time enrollment at Columbia College. Current tuition rates are available online at web.ccis.edu/Offices/FinancialAid/costofattendance.aspx. The award is renewable for three additional years if the student maintains a Columbia College cumulative grade point average of 3.6 or higher, earns 30 credit hours per academic year, and is involved on campus.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $87,800.

Scholarship information is available online from the Columbia College of Missouri (CCM) website. To be considered for the scholarship, the student must attend a CCM Scholarship Day event. Scholarship Days will be held on January 13, 2018; and January 27, 2018. Students must RSVP on the CCM website for the date of their choice. Students must also submit the following application materials: completed application for admission; $35 application (waived if application submitted prior to Jan. 1); high school transcript; college transcript if applicable (includes dual credit); ACT and/or SAT scores; resume of high school, community, and leadership activities; two letters of recommendation; and two essays (topics emailed/mailed after RSVP for Scholarship Day). Application materials must be submitted two weeks prior to the student's selected Scholarship Day.
