Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
  4. Must plan to attend DePaul University.
  5. Must demonstrate superior academic excellence.
  6. Must attend a college or university in Illinois.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence and plan to attend DePaul University are considered for this award upon admission.

Application requirements for the DePaul University Presidential Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • ACT/SAT scores
Additional Information: The Presidential Scholarship, DePaul's most prestigious scholarship, is awarded to a select number of our most academically qualified admitted students.

Award Amount: $17,000 to $18,000 annually, renewable for up to four consecutive years as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 3.3 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $18,000.
