Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
  4. Must plan to attend DePaul University in Illinois.
  5. Must have strong academic credentials and have performed above average compared to others in the applicant pool.
  6. Must attend a college or university in Illinois.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. graduating high school seniors who have strong academic credentials and have performed above average are considered for this award upon admission to DePaul University in Illinois.

Application requirements for the DePaul University Scholars’ Award are:

  • Official Transcript
  • Application form
  • Recommendation letter
Additional Information: The DePaul Scholars' Award is given to students who have strong academic credentials and have performed above average compared to others in our applicant pool.

Award Amount: $15,000 to $16,000 annually, renewable for four consecutive years as long as the recipients maintains a grade point average of 2.7 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $16,000.
