Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Rhode Island.
  3. Must be a descendant of a member of the Franklin Lodge of Freemasons in Westerly, Rhode Island.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  5. Must be an incoming or current undergraduate student. Graduate students are ineligible.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Edward Leon Duhamel Freemasons Scholarship provides tuition support to undergraduate descendants of members of the Franklin Lodge of Freemasons in Westerly, Rhode Island. Students must be residents of Rhode Island and demonstrate financial need.

Additional Information: The Edward Leon Duhamel Freemasons Scholarship is provided annually to local descendants of the members of the Franklin Lodge of Freemasons in Westerly, Rhode Island. Students must also demonstrate academic achievements and unmet financial need.

Award Amount: $500 to $1,000 annually, renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
