Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to three awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
  2. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.
  3. This award is for U.S. students.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
  6. Must have a combined SAT score of 1090 or higher and/or ACT score of 22 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for high school seniors and current undergraduate students in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and academic excellence.

Additional Information: The Communities Foundation of Texas has been a partner with local individuals, families and businesses for raising the quality of life in the Texas community since 1953. Providing scholarships to deserving students is an important part of this mission, in the hopes that financial assistance will help these students to reach their full potential in high schools, colleges and continuing education across the country.

Award Amount: Up to $5,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
