Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.All FAU Office of Undergraduate Admissions scholarships are limited in number, competitive, and are awarded annually on a rolling basis early in the scholarship cycle. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee a scholarship.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. The scholarship award is based on the competitive level of the applicant pool.
  3. Must plan to attend Florida Atlantic University.
  4. Must enroll full time (12 or more credit hours per semester).
  5. Must plan to enroll as a first-time-in-college freshman.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  7. Must attend a college or university in Florida.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to U.S. high school seniors who are planning to attend Florida Atlantic University. The student must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement; awards are based on the competitive level of the applicant pool.

Application requirements for the FAU Presidential Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • $30 app. fee
  • ACT/SAT scores
  • Sr. year schedule
Additional Information: An eligible student may receive only one admissions scholarship unless otherwise stated in the scholarship award letter. Generally, scholarships are not stackable.

Award Amount: Number of awards granted varies.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
