  3. Must be involved with video games and eSports at a competitive or professional level.
  4. Must attend Ashland University in Ohio.

Additional Information: Ashland University is expanding their eSports program and they are seeking to recruit additional student gamers who are familiar with and active on Fortnite or any of the following video games: League of Legends; Overwatch; DOTA 2; Counter-Strike, Global Offensive; Starcraft 2; Starcraft, Brood War; Rocket League; Heroes of the Storm (HotS); Hearthstone; Super Smash Brothers; Vainglory; Paladins; Smite; Player Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG); Battlerite; Splatoon2; NBA2K; or FIFA Soccer. Applicants will be avaluated based on their provided experiences with gaming in both solo and team based play, and will be required to play for an audition and try-out event. Selected students will be awarded scholarships for attendance costs to Ashland University and will compete in the following eSports Leagues: National Association of Collegiate Esports, University League of Legends, Collegiate Starleague, TESPA, AVGL, and others. Recruited players will also have access to the university's state of the art gaming center with 25 high performance computers, gaming chairs, and two large screen TVs for coaching and spectator enjoyment.

Award Amount: Up to $4,000 annually, non-renewable. All scholarship funds will be applied directly to tuition, room & board, and other academic expenses.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $16,000.
