Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually, depending on the number of qualified applicants and the amount of money raised. Last year, 42 awards were provided.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be of Hispanic heritage.
  2. Must have taken English as a Second Language courses.
  3. Must be a resident of Forsyth county, North Carolina.
  4. Must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student at the time of application.
  5. This award is for U.S. and international students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for Hispanic high school seniors and undergraduates who are residents of Forsyth County, NC. Applicants must have previously enrolled in an English as a Second Language course.

Additional Information: The Hispanic League of Forsyth County seeks to promote the inclusion of Latino and Hispanic professionals in community & business leadership. To this end, the foundation continues to support the higher education of local students who show promise and dedication with their studies.

Award Amount: $2,000 to $3,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.
