Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year the award is offered.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Joyce M. Kennedy Ph.D. Scholarship Fund is available for graduating seniors and previous graduates of a Ventura County High School who are enrolled or planning to enroll at California State Univerity Channel Islands. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Additional Information: The Joyce M. Kennedy Ph.D. Scholarship Fund is provided annually to Ventura County residents who are attending or planning to attend California State Univerity Channel Islands. Applicants must be graduating seniors at a Ventura County high school or previous graduates of a Ventura County high school, and must have a grade point average that demonstrates a high level of academic dedication. Scholarship recipients will be selected primarily on academic merits.

Award Amount: $1,500 is awarded annually. All awards are paid on a one-time basis and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.
