Number of Awards & Eligibility: Seven awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a resident of Hawaii.
  4. Must demonstrate academic achievement with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university as a full-time student (12 credits per semester).
  6. Must graduate from one of the following Honolulu, HI, schools: Damien High School, Farrington High School, or Kamehameha School (Kapalama campus).
  7. Must be a high school senior at time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for Hawaii high school seniors who will graduate from Damien High School, Farrington High School, or Kamehameha School in Hawaii. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: This scholarship was established in 2005 by the Kalihi Education Coalition to benefit graduating high school seniors from Damien School, Farrington High School, or Kamehameha - Kapalama School. All applicants must demonstrate financial need and good moral character. Recipients will be notified after the scholarship selection committees meet, which could be any time between May and August.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $7,000.
