Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to three awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Texas.
  2. Must be paraplegic or quadriplegic.
  3. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

Additional Information: The Kristofer Robinson Scholarship Fund is provided annually for paraplegic and quadriplegic students who reside in the state of Texas. To be eligible for the award, students must enroll in an accredited college or university within the state of Texas, and must maintain satisfactory academic standing in order to renew the award in future years. The Communities Foundation of Texas has been a partner with local individuals, families and businesses for raising the quality of life in the Texas community since 1953. Providing scholarships to deserving students is an important part of this mission, in the hopes that financial assistance will help these students to reach their full potential in high schools, colleges and continuing education across the country.

Award Amount: The award amount varies, depending on the number of qualified applicants and availability of funding. Students who maintain satisfactory academic performance may be eligible to renew the award in future years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
