Number of Awards & Eligibility: Six awards offered annually, divided equally between male and female winners.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Los Angeles, CA.
  3. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
  4. Must have a record of high academic achievement and/or extracurricular involvement.

Description: This award is available for current high school seniors who are residents of Los Angeles, CA, and planning to enroll in a college or university during the following academic year. Selection is based on academic achievement and extracurricular participation.

Application requirements for the LA Clippers ‘Stay in School’ Scholarship Program are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letter
  • Essay
  • SAT scores
Additional Information: Applications for this scholarship will be judged on academic achievement, community service, extracurricular activities, and the supporting documentation, such as the letter of recommendation and personal essay.

Award Amount: $4,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $24,000.
