Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually. Approximately three awards were provided last year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Sedona, AZ.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  3. This award is for U.S. students.
  4. Must be majoring in a medical field.
  5. Must be a graduating high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors in Sedona, Arizona who are planning to major in a medical field. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: The Arizona Community Foundation provides scholarships for high school seniors and current college students throughout Arizona. Selection for awards is based primarily on academic records, financial need (as demonstrated by the FAFSA paperwork), and the quality of other submission items such as essays and recommendation letters.

Award Amount: $1,500 for study at community colleges and $2,500 for study at four-year colleges and universities. Awards are not automatically renewed, but prior recipients may re-apply in future years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $7,500.
