Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must live within Lancaster County, Nebraska.
  3. Must graduate from Lincoln Northeast High School.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must plan to enroll as a full-time student.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must be a high school senior at time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. high school seniors who live within Lancaster County, Nebraska and will graduate from Lincoln Northeast High School. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the Margaret C. Stednitz Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Transcript
  • Student aid report
Additional Information: The applicant must demonstrate scholastic achievement, financial need, and an intention to continue education. Please note: The scholarship is not awarded until the recipient completes one full year of college with continued evidence of scholarship application and achievement. This is currently defined as maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
