Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually. Approximately three awards were provided last year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Yuma County, AZ.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
  3. Must be majoring in a field related to agriculture.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.
  6. Must attend the University of Arizona at Tucson.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Arizona Community Foundation provides scholarships for high school seniors and current college students throughout Arizona. High school seniors in Yuma County, Arizona are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher, majoring in an agricultural field at the University of Arizona at Tucson.

Additional Information: The Arizona Community Foundation provides scholarships for high school seniors and current college students throughout Arizona. Selection for awards is based primarily on academic records, financial need (as demonstrated by the FAFSA paperwork), and the quality of other submission items such as essays and recommendation letters.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, non-renewable. Previous recipients are eligible to re-apply and may receive priority for future awards.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $15,000.
