In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be planning to major in education or a related field.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  6. Must reside in Hillsborough County, Florida.
  7. Must attend a college or university in Florida.

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors in Hillsborough County, Florida. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and must major in education.

Additional Information: This scholarship is designed to reward and recruit high school seniors in Hillsborough County Florida who have demonstrated great academic achievement in maintaining a high school grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Selection will be based on academic records, difficulty of coursework, and other academic factors such as standardized test scores and other recognitions.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
