Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must plan to enroll full time.
  2. Must attend McMinn County High School in McMinn County, TN.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
  4. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  6. This award is for U.S. students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for graduating seniors at McMinn County High School who have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and unmet financial need.

Application requirements for the McMinn County High School Alumni Fund Scholarship are:

Additional Information: This scholarship was established by the alumni of McMinn County High School in 2001 to assist current graduating seniors who are pursuing higher education. Applicants must demonstrate academic potential and unmet financial need. Additional preference will be given to applicants planning to attend school in Tennessee and work in the East Tennessee area following graduation. Factors to be considered by the selection committee will be: financial need; general aptitude for advanced educational work; evidence of participation in and service to the community; and the maturity and professionalism of the student, in that order of importance. The selection committee reserves the right to conduct brief interviews with finalists.

Award Amount: $1,200 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,200.
