Number of Awards & Eligibility: There will be one hundred available awards.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a current student in grades 8 through 12 (as of the application period). With a inimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale), based on the most recent transcript.
  2. Must reside in Los Angeles County, Orange County, or nearby counties within Southern California.

Description: MHG Charitable Foundation is non-profit and 501(c)3 organization. Our foundation is dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering opportunities for a brighter future. By initiating our efforts with Scholarships & Grants for Southern California students in Grades 8 through 12, we aim to advance education and personal development. As we evolve, we are committed to addressing broader societal challenges, including, but not limited to, supporting people without stable housing, enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities, and advocating for mental health. Guided by compassion and collaboration, we strive to uplift lives and cultivate a more inclusive and caring communit

Application requirements for the MHG Compassion Scholarships are:

  • Website registration
Additional Information:

Award Amount: Chosen applicants will each receive between $500-$1,500.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $50,000.
